The Tigers have won four straight in the series, outscoring the Rebels 135-82 (33.75-20.50 ppg). n Auburn leads 16-3 in Auburn and 12-3 in Oxford, while the series is tied 5-5 at neutral sites. n The Tigers were 20-14 winners at Jordan-Hare Stadium last season and posted a 31-16 victory in Oxford in the team’s last meeting there during the 2018 season. n Eleven of the last 16 games in the series have been decided by double digits; Auburn has a 9-2 record in those games. n Prior to the last 15 games, the previous five games were decided by eight points or fewer. n Auburn has had some huge rushing performances in the 10 meetings against Ole Miss with Gus Malzahn on the Tigers’ staff (2009-11 OC, 2013-present HC). Auburn’s leading rushers in those games have averaged 157.3 yards on the ground (1,573 combined rushing yards) and have scored a total of 11 rushing touchdowns. n In eight of those 10 games, the Tigers’ leading rusher has gained at least 138 yards. Auburn is 9-1 in those games. KICKOFF COVERAGE n Auburn’s 2020 campaign will be its 128th season of college football. The Tigers have 778 wins all-time, 13th-most among FBS schools. n Against Arkansas, Tank Bigsby (146 rush yds) and Antho- ny Schwartz (100 rec yds) gave Auburn its first 100-yard rushing/receiving tandem in an SEC game since the 2017 Alabama contest (Kerryon Johnson and Ryan Davis). n Colby Wooden leads Auburn and is tied for second in the SEC with 5.0 TFL this season, including 2.0 in each of his last two games. Wooden has recorded at least 1.0 TFL in three of four games this season. n Zakoby McClain ranks fourth nationally in total tackles, averaging 11.3 per game. n With 268 all-purpose yards against Arkansas (146 rush, 16 rec, 106 KOR), Tank Bigsby posted just one of 10 perfor- mances of 250+ all-purpose yards in Auburn history and the first since 2013 (Tre Mason 312 yds in the SEC championship game vs. Missouri). n Bigsby has accounted for one-third (8-23) of Auburn’s plays of 20+ yards this season (8 KOR, 2 rush). n Bigsby, who rushed for 146 yards vs. Arkansas and 111 yards and his first career TD at South Carolina, is the first Auburn freshman to rush for 100 yards in back-to-back games since redshirt freshman JaTarvious Whitlow in 2018; Bigsby is the first Auburn freshman to do it in consecutive SEC games since Michael Dyer in 2010. IN OCTOBER n Auburn is 315-166-18 (.649) all-time in October. Auburn’s October home record is 173-35-3 (.828). n Away from Auburn, the Tigers are 142-131-15 (.518) in Octo- ber. n Auburn is 18-10 in October under Gus Malzahn. Auburn is 10-5 on October 24 all-time, and 3-4 against SEC teams on that date. MORE TIGER STRIPES... n On the current Auburn roster, 40 players have at least one college start to their credit, 22 on offense and 18 on defense. n Jordyn Peters’ blocked punt against Arkansas was the fourth of his career; he had three during the 2018 season. That most recent block resulted in a Tiger touchdown when recovered by Barton Lester. n It was the first blocked punt for a TD by Auburn since the 2018 Alabama State game (blocked by Jordyn Peters, recovered by Devan Barrett) and the first by Auburn in an SEC game since the 2017 Texas A&M contest (blocked by Nick Ruffin, recovered by Malik Miller). n With his 13 tackles at South Carolina, linebacker Zakoby McClain becomes the first Auburn player since Deshaun Davis in 2018 with double-figure tackles in three straight games (Georgia 11, Arkansas 14, South Carolina 13). McClain now has 104 tackles for his career.
