Auburn leads the series 10-1-1 and is 3-0 in all games played at Wil- liams-Brice Stadium in Columbia. n Auburn extended its winning streak over South Carolina to eight games with its 42-35 victory in 2014 at Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn. n The Tigers were 16-13 victors in their last trip to Columbia in 2011, as an unranked Auburn squad upset the No. 10 Gamecocks. n Auburn posted two wins over the Gamecocks in 2010; the Tigers won 35-27 on Sept. 25 in Auburn and 56-17 on Dec. 4 in the SEC Championship Game. n The eight-game winning streak is the Tigers’ longest active winning streak over an SEC opponent. n At least one of the teams has been ranked in the AP Top 25 in all but one meeting since 1996. The Tigers have 778 wins all-time, 13th-most among FBS schools. n Against Arkansas, Tank Bigsby (146 rush yds) and Antho- ny Schwartz (100 rec yds) gave Auburn its first 100-yard rushing/receiving tandem in an SEC game since the 2017 Alabama contest (Kerryon Johnson and Ryan Davis). n Roger McCreary and Nehemiah Pritchett are tied for sec- ond in the SEC in passes defensed per game (1.3). n Barton Lester is one of 10 players tied for the NCAA lead in touchdowns on punt returns this season; he recovered the blocked punt against Arkansas for his first career score. n With 268 all-purpose yards against Arkansas (146 rush, 16 rec, 106 KOR), Tank Bigsby posted just one of 10 perfor- mances of 250+ all-purpose yards in Auburn history and the first since 2013 (Tre Mason 312 yds in the SEC championship game vs. Missouri). n Bigsby has accounted for one-third (6-18) of Auburn’s plays of 20+ yards this season (5 KOR, 1 rush). n Quarterback Bo Nix has totaled 13 scores (8 pass/5 rush) in six career SEC games at Jordan-Hare Stadium. In those, Nix averages 250.5 passing yards and 34.0 rushing yards (284.5 total yds) with a 60.1 completion percentage. IN OCTOBER n Auburn is 315-165-18 (.650) all-time in October. Pharoh Cooper was on the receiving end of seven passes for 127 yards. n The last time Auburn and Carolina met in Columbia, Au- burn’s Philip Lutzenkirchen hauled in a 9-yard pass from Barrett Trotter with 1:38 left in the game to lift the Tigers to a 16-13 win over No. 10/9 South Carolina on Oct. 1, 2011 at Williams-Brice Stadium. n Head coach Will Muschamp has had three stints at Auburn, first as a graduate assistant from 1995-96, then as the de- fensive coordinator and defensive backs coach from 2006- 07, and again as a defensive coordinator in 2015 under head coach Gus Malzahn. n Defensive coordinator Travaris Robinson played at Auburn, graduating in 2007. While at Auburn, he was the MVP of the Iron Bowl and was a first-team All-SEC selection. He worked as an Auburn graduate assistant from 2006-07 and was also a member of the 2015 Auburn coaching staff. n Tight ends coach Bobby Bentley worked as an Auburn offen- sive analyst from 2014-15 under head coach Gus Malzahn. n Special teams coordinator Kyle Krantz served as a defensive analyst on that same staff in 2015. n Defensive line coach Tracy Rocker played at Auburn from 1985-88.
