The native of Pompano Beach, Fla., ac- counted for 5,114 yards of total offense in 2016 and set the school mark rushing yards at Louisville with 1,571 yards, which he would break the following season. He put his name on the map when he accounted for an ACC record with 610 yards in a win over Syracuse. Jackson closed his sophomore season by capturing many of the nation’s top awards, including the Associated Press and Walter Camp Player of the Year Awards. Gerod Holliman Taking over as the team’s starting safety, Gerod Holliman led the nation and set a school record with 14 interceptions to lead the Cardinals to a 9-4 record. The 2014 Jim Thorpe Award winner recorded 14 interceptions to tie Al Worley’s NCAA record that was set in 1968. Holliman recorded an interception in nine games, including a school record three in a win at Boston College. He tied the NCAA mark with a pick versus Kentucky on the Wildcats’ final offensive play of the game. Elvis Dumervil A Bronko Nagurski Award winner, Elvis Du- mervil was an unstoppable force during the 2005 campaign. The Miami, Fla., native set the school record and missed the NCAA mark with 20.5 sacks in guiding the Cardinals to a 9-4 record. Dumervil raced off to a fast start by setting an NCAA mark with six sacks in a win over Kentucky in Lexington. Dumervil went on to win a number of first team All- American honors after registering those 20 sacks and 23.0 tackles for loss.FIRST TEAM ALL-AMERICANS 2020 LO UIS VILLE C ARDIN ALS F OO TB ALL 142History Year Player Class Pos.
