It was tied for the team’s second-most shots in a period in a postseason game in team history (most: 21 on May 10, 2018 vs. Winnipeg). • Juuse Saros made 33 saves on 37 shots against in his first career postseason start. FORSBERG SCORES TWICE • Filip Forsberg recorded his fifth career playoff multi-goal game in Sunday’s Game 1. It was also his first career playoff game with multiple power-play goals. • Forsberg became the first player in Predators history to score at least two power-play goals in a postseason game. • His five multi-goal postseason games are the most in Nashville history; J-P Dumont sits second with three. • Since making his postseason debut in 2015, Forsberg’s 25 goals are the sixth- most among all NHL skaters. QUICK HITS • The Predators are 8-11 all-time in Game 2 of a postseason series, including a 5-2 record when designated as the home team. • Nashville picked up a 2-0 victory over the Dallas Stars in its exhibition game on Thursday. The game was the team’s lone tune-up for its series against Arizona. • The Predators ended the 2019-20 NHL regular season with 78 points and a 35-26-8 record in 69 games played, equating to a .565 point percentage. • The Preds pushed their postseason streak to six seasons, the longest in franchise history. • Nashville has enjoyed postseason hockey in every season since 2014-15, tied for the second-longest active streak (with Washington), trailing only Pittsburgh’s run of 14 seasons.
